Race Stats on My Web Site
For those interested, I will be downloading my Garmin 305 GPS watch data from the race which includes my heart rate data as well as pace, grade, distance all graphed out. I'll start doing that for each of my big training runs and races going forwards.
Hi! My name is Scott Redfern and I am the founder of Running, Riding and Racing for Other People's Lives.
I live in Monroe, CT with my wife Jan and my two fantastic teenage children where we have lived for the past 20 years. Our whole family is actively involved in community service through our church, Monroe Congregational Church (MCC) and any other opportunities that we find to get involved.
Our typical vacation includes traveling to, and exploring a national park. We also enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking and other fun challenges to relax.
I am a dedicated Scoutmaster in Boy Scout Troop 63 and I teach my Scouts to take pride in serving and helping others while focusing on the core basics of Scouting in our troop. Troop 63 is known for its dedication to camping, backpacking and experiencing a broad spectrum of outdoor activities.
As is evidenced by what I have chosen for my fundraising activities, I am an avid runner and all around fitness enthusiast.
